About

Nationwide Training

Training and Testing Services (TTS) is an accredited training and testing company, offering an excellent range of specialist health and safety training for clients situated throughout mainland UK.

We always strive to produce the best service for our clients, big or small, and this has led us to develop a fantastic reputation since we began in 2008.

In addition to conducting training and testing on customer sites anywhere in the UK, TTS regularly offer open courses at our facilities in Knaresborough (North Yorkshire) and Morden (South London). We also have a large range of online training courses, enabling us to provide a full and complete service.

Many of our customers come from recommendations. This demonstrates the quality of the services and products that we deliver, as well as the expertise of our staff. Our team takes pride in providing all of our clients with a complete service, not just a training course.

TTS Accreditation’s & Memberships

The British Abrasives Federation (BAF)

TTS are proud to be one of the few training companies in the UK to be accredited by the British Abrasives Federation (BAF). This enables us to provide operator training courses in the safe use of abrasive products. In addition to the accredited abrasive wheel operator course we also run Abrasive Wheel Train the Trainer. Our bespoke courses are individually tailored to each company and cover every type of abrasive wheel.

This accreditation ensures that the information that we provide is accurate and up to date, and the content and delivery of our course  is BAF verified to prove this.

We have rapidly established ourselves as a leading provider of abrasive wheel training in the UK, and our goal is to continually improve on this service to provide the best experience for our customers.

Fit2Fit RPE Fit Test Providers Accreditation Scheme

Our testers are all Fit2Fit accredited. The Fit2Fit RPE Fit Test Providers Accreditation Scheme is designed to confirm the competency of any person performing face fit testing.

Prior to this accreditation scheme, the selection of a competent person was a matter of luck and guess work. Testers might have lacked the knowledge, skills and experience required to properly carry out a face fit test. In turn, endangering the lives of the wearers as ill-fitting masks don’t provide the same level of protection. This potentially increased the chances of these mask wearers developing respiratory health problems later on in life.

To tackle this issue, BSIF has developed a competency scheme in collaboration with the HSE and other industry stakeholders known as the Fit2Fit Fit Test Providers Accreditation Scheme. By substantially increasing the correct fitting of RPE, the aim is to significantly reduce the incidence of occupational respiratory injury.

Fit2Fit Approved Training Courses

We are a fit2fit approved training provider.

The fit2fit approval scheme requires the course content to be submitted to fit2fit.

The course is scrutinised to ensure that what we deliver is fully compliant with the HSE’s guidance and protocols.

We are 1 of only 5 companies in the UK to be approved for qualitative & quantitative (APC Method) face fit testing training (August 2020).
