Non Licensed Asbestos Removal Training

Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal

If you have come to our non-licensed asbestos removal page it will have come from our old training page or a Google Search.

Until this year (2020), we actively taught non-licensed asbestos removal. As a specialist training company we strive to offer the best service and training that we can. With this in mind we now concentrate on our core business which is abrasive wheels and face fit.

We will continue to offer asbestos awareness training as an add-on course to our half day courses and we also have asbestos awareness e-learning.

We have worked with many companies over the years and have been IATP registered to ensure that the non-licensed asbsestos removal training was to the highest standard possible.

If you are looking for a non-licensed asbestos removal training provider then we would always recommend using an IATP or UKATA registered training provider. In addition to this, you will need to ensure the correct protection. If using any form of tight fitting face piece, respirator or breathing apparatus, by law it must be tested to ensure it fits correctly. Need to arrange face fit testing? Then contact us and we can send our tester to your site/premises to conduct the testing for you.

All training should be delivered in line with the HSE asbestos essentials guidance https://www.hse.gov.uk/asbestos/essentials/

The importance of face fit testing

One issue we would often come against when delivering non-licensed asbestos removal training was the desire to just tick a box. Asbestos is a very real danger and one that needs to be protected against, this is through the correct training and the correct protection. Our recent blog explains the importance of face fit testing. You will note from the HSE chart that asbestos related lung cancer accounts for 20%* of the 12,000 work related deaths every year.
