Mobile TTS

Mobile TTS was the first of its kind in our industry, not only was it the perfect space for high volume respirator face fit testing it was used as a mobile classroom too.

Due to the success of our 1st mobile unit we invested in mobile tts – truck 2. This mobile unit was a fantastic mobile classroom and was used for abrasive wheel training and face fit testing on numerous sites across the country.

Our 2nd mobile unit was donated to the Ukraine back in 2022 and is being used as an education vehicle.

Why TTS went Mobile

In 2020 when COVID hit, it became very apparent that there was a need to be able to provide suitable, mobile and COVID secure respirator face fit testing facilities.

Mobile TTS was launched in March 2021 and was soon put to work by various NHS trusts to assist them with their face fit testing programmes during the COVID pandemic.

Since then Mobile TTS has gone on to be used by all types of industries including one of the UK’s largest utilities companies.

High Volume Face Fit Testing

Here at TTS we are 1 of only 2 companies in the UK who have face fit testers who are accredited for dual testing, this means that some of our testers can test 2 people at a time, therefore increasing the amount of tests that we can do in a day when compared to what others can do.

Case studies:

Having been used successfully by University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay, our unit was located at 3 different hospital sites in Summer 2021 and New Year 2022.

The summer programme saw us onsite for a 6 week period carrying out high volume face fit testing on behalf of the NHS Trust. Read more here.

In addition to this, we have successfully assisted one of the UK’s largest utilities companies, Training and Testing Services implemented a nationwide face fit testing programme.

We have been able to deploy our face fit testing teams and mobile unit to various locations the length and breadth of the country.
