Level 3 Forestry First Aid Course

Level 3 Forestry First Aid : 2 hour course

The Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those that work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.

This course provides the knowledge and competence for a learner to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural environment and covers the recommended topics stated in the Forestry Commission First Aid policy 2015. All learners must hold an in date Level 3 Emergency First Aid or Level 3 First Aid at work qualification.

This short, yet informative course provides learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment.

This qualification comprises 1 mandatory unit over 2 hours of learning.  Learners must hold or be working towards either a regulated first aid qualification (minimum 1-day course prior to certification).

The qualification is valid for 3 years and to requalify learners will need to complete the full course again. It is recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training.

A maximum of 12 learners can be accommodated on this course and must be a minimum of 14 years of age to attend.
